Getting to & from Mount Abu

The best way to get to Mount Abu is to take a public or private bus or hire a private car from Udaipur. You can also reach Udaipur from Baroda or Ahmedabad in Gujarat. The nearest train station is Abu Road located 25 km away from the city centre. Taxis can take you up the mountain from the railway station.

Getting around Mount Abu

Mount Abu is not a big town so it’s possible to get around the city on foot. While it’s possible to get to the Dilwara temple on foot, it is advisable to hop into a shared jeep or take a private vehicle there.
