Hampi’s climate is generally warm and dry. The best time to visit Hampi is between September and February.
- Winters (November to February) are very pleasant and cool. During winter the day temperature is less than 34°C and the night temperature can go to a low of 12°C. This is the best time for Hampi tourism. Sightseeing and outdoor activities are particularly enjoyable during the winter months.
- Summers (March to May) offer a warm climate with temperatures reaching a maximum of 40°C.
- Monsoons (June to August) brings wet weather with heavy showers. It is not advisable to visit Hampi during the hot or wet season.
