Due to its location on the Coral Coast of Western Australia, seafood is the popular choice of the day at most Exmouth restaurants. Fresh seafood options ranging from shrimps to lobsters can be found on most menus at the restaurants in Exmouth.

One of the best restaurants in Exmouth is Whalers Restaurant located on Kennedy Street. While serving up a largely International menu, the restaurant offers mostly seafood dishes with some Italian and Asian influences thrown in for good measure. It is worth making an advance booking to secure a table at this breezy terrace eatery. If you can’t get a table at the above restaurant, the next best is Graces Tavern, a fine dining restaurant and casual bistro. Both share the same menu; the bistro has cheaper prices though.

In addition to the handful of restaurants in Exmouth, there are also a few cafes around town. Head to Continental Café or Great Café at the Exmouth Shopping Centre for great coffees and decent breakfast and lunch options.

If you’re in the mood for self-catering, there’s a handy supermarket at the Exmouth Shopping Centre. You can also find a few takeaway shops and a bakery there.
