Mt Hotham comes alive during the ski season between June and September. The best time to visit Mt Hotham is between the months of July and August which is peak ski season. This is when Mt Hotham has received most of its snowfall, offering more powder than any other Australian ski resort. Due to its location further away from Melbourne, the ski slopes are not as packed as Mt Buller making it a delight for riders.
