Mt Hotham is located in the Victorian Alps in southeast Australia. In terms of distance, it lies 376km northeast of Melbourne, 132km southeast of Wangaratta and 55km south of Bright.
Hotham is a 4.5 hour drive from Melbourne, 8 hour drive from Sydney, 12 hour drive from Adelaide and 15 hour drive from Brisbane.

Buy a Mt Hotham lift pass and get access to over 775 hectares of snowy terrain at Mt Hotham, Falls Creek and Dinner Plain. When you purchase your lift pass you will receive an RFID enabled Snow Pass card which holds your lift pass and lessons. Simply scan your card as you go through the chairlift gates. You Snow Pass can be reloaded with lift passes, lessons or rental gear via the online store.
