Getting to & from Hyderabad

Hyderabad is well connected to all parts of the country by air, rail and road.

By Air – Hyderabad has an international airport with international carriers such as Air India, British Airways, Emirates, Malaysia Airlines, Oman Air, Qatar Airways, Saudi Arabian Airlines, Silk Air, Etihad Airways and Thai Airways operating from Hyderabad.

By Train – Indian Railways has service to Hyderabad from all over India. The main train station is Hyderabad Deccan Station popularly known as Nampally Station.

By Bus – Hyderabad is well connected to other major metro cities by road. Both state government and private buses operate large number of luxury and ordinary services across Andhra Pradesh and neighbouring states.

 

Getting around Hyderabad

Getting around Hyderabad is fairly easy with a well-organised and comprehensive government bus transport system operating from Abids as its headquarters. From here, you can get a bus to any of the places to visit in Hyderabad. Alternatively, metered auto rickshaws and taxis are regularly available to any of the Hyderabad attractions. Private cars with chauffeurs can also be hired from reputable hotels or local travel agencies.
