Mystic Mountain Bike Park, Bright
Mystic Mountain Bike Park is a unique mix of trails for beginners to experts. The natural terrain is coupled with the relics of a gold-mining industry and more recently plantation pine forest, give the area distinct appeal.
Consisting of over 30 km of world-class single track hand-built by local riders, Mystic MTB Park encompasses everything from flat fire-road to incredibly steep and technical climbs and descents. Exposed roots, dust, hard-pack, pine needles, rock, mud, sparkling mountain rivers, tree cover, wildlife and open vistas all form part of the experience at this bike park.
Mountain Biking Trails from Bright
The Dirty Dozen features 12 of the High Country’s best mountain bike trails selected by local riders. Three of these dozen trails are located right here in Bright. Shred the trails of the High Country and take on the Dirty Dozen.
Morses Creek Loop
Time: 1.5 hours
Grade: Intermediate
A combination of the best trails with a little bit of everything over 12.6 km. Explore native bush, pine plantations and creeks; take on traverses, single track and some technical challenges.
Finish off with a beer after your bitumen decent back into town.

Mystic Baker
Time: 1.5 hours
Grade: Difficult
Crafted by locals and used for National Mountain Bike Championships, this hill is seriously steep. The challenging single track trail is fast and a nationwide favourite.

Time: 1 hour
Grade: Intermediate
This trail offers it all – from rolling riverside flow trail to tight and twisting single track through the pine forest of Mystic Mountain Bike Park. Enjoy the rollercoaster sections here left over from the 1850s gold rush.

SEPTEMBER
Alfred 6 Hour
Endurance mountain bike events have become the most popular on the mountain biking calendar. Match this type of event with the perfect venue and the Alfred 6 Hour is born. Bright is the host town for this classic enduro format event, with solo and team categories in either three-hour or six-hour formats.
