Pedal to Produce includes the renowned food and wine regions of Rutherglen, Beechworth, Glenrowan, Milawa, King Valley, Mansfield, Myrtleford, Bright and the Kiewa Valley. Along these trails you can expect to visit cellar doors, local breweries or drop into a café for a coffee. If you’re hungry you can refuel at one of the many bakeries, restaurants and food producers along the way.

Pedal along the flat and gentle Murray to Mountains Rail Trail from Bright to Porepunkah, while taking in spectacular mountain views and enjoying delicious food and award winning wine along the way.
Begin your leisurely day of riding with a hearty breakfast at Coral Lee in the heart of Bright, then scoot your two wheels onto Bright Chocolate, right next to the Ovens River, for an early morning fix or to pack for the ride. Make tracks down Barnard Street, through the towns main round-about turning right into Burke Street to connect to the Murray to Mountains Rail Trail.
Your morning coffee is waiting at the Rail Trail Cafè, where you can visit the cycle-through coffee bar for a quick espresso. Continue your journey along the dirt track to Ringer Reef Winery and treat yourself to a wine tasting and homemade bread fresh from the oven as you admire the valley vista.
Your next stop is Feathertop Winery, with more glorious views to Mount Buffalo. Select a bottle and some gourmet deli items, or indulge in the la carte menu on the grassy rose-lined terrace.
Work up a thirst on your return journey back to Bright, then park your wheels outside Bright Brewery for a hard earned craft ale.
You can extend your journey by cycling to Myrtleford or Gapsted and stopping at Gapsted Winery on your way there. Return transfers are bookable with Bright’s Bus-a-Bike.
