Bright Festivals & Events
Bright’s calendar is packed with festivals and events all year round. From its famous Autumn and Spring festivals to regular weekend markets, this is Bright at its very best.
Bright is beautiful all year round but it’s most spectacular during one of its festivals. Most months of the year are packed with festivals which range from cycling races to food, wine and music festivals. If you can arrange your Bright holiday to coincide with one of these festivals, you’ll be in for a treat.
Seasonal festivals
Head over to Bright during the months of October and November for the Bright Spring Festival or in April for the Bright Autumn Festival. These two popular festivals celebrate all things bright and beautiful.
Cycling events
Bright is a mecca for cycling trails which come alive in Spring and Summer when the popular cycling races and festivals come to town. For both cycling experts and social riders there are plenty of road cycling races and mountain biking events to choose from. Bright’s cycling festivals make for a great weekend holiday for riders, support crew and their families alike.
Food & wine festivals
With oodles of good local produce and fine wine being grown on its doorsteps, it’s not surprising that many of Bright’s best festivals are centred around food and wine accompanied by music. The Wandiligong Nut Festival and the Harvest ‘n’ Graze are a couple of examples of what’s on offer.
Regular events
Bright also has a regular Sunday market held every third Saturday of the month. Make it, Bake it, Grow it is a produce market selling fresh local and regional produce. Bring a picnic rug or chair and enjoy the delicious fare on offer.
